Wayne Rooney worth £82m and winning £300k every week is named Britain's wealthiest youthful games star


Britain and Manchester United chief Wayne Rooney is the wealthiest youthful games star in Britain and he is worth £82m as indicated by the Sunday Times. The 2016 Sunday Times Rich List for youthful sportsmen in Britain (sportsmen under 30 in Britain) which was distributed this weekend records 30 year old Rooney as the wealthiest with an estimation of £82m. 

Rooney gains about £300,000-a-week at United, which makes him the most generously compensated player in the Barclays Premier League, and in addition supports with Nike and Samsung. 

Tennis siblings Andy and Jamie Murray are second with a joint worth of £58m, however £57m of it is contributed by world No 2 Andy. Others on the rundown incorporate Rory McIlroy, Gareth Bale, Falcao and Amir Khan. See the full rundown after the cut.
